John August Swanson Serigraph "The Fiery Furnace - Story of Daniel" Very Rare, Signed along with a beautiful quote written out by Swanson. Professionally framed by Aaron Brothers. Vintage Pre-Owned and in clean, great looking shape. Was produced in 1983 and would have been presented at The Bazaar del Mundo Gallery, in San Diego California in either 1983 or 1984 when he was featured there at an event.

With frame, it's 33 inches in width, and 27 inches tall.

John August Swanson was a world-renowned contemporary artist whose works included many colorful depictions of stories from the Bible and other religious themes, mostly by Serigraphs, Etchings, and Lithographs. Born in 1938, he lived and worked most of his life in Los Angeles, CA, passing away in 2021.

Many of Swanson's beautiful works are on display in churches, universities, and museums around the world, including three museums of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, the Art Institute of Chicago, Harvard University’s Fogg Museum, the Tate Gallery in London, the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, the Vatican Museum of Modern Religious Art, and many other institutions.
